Our PTZ-LX700L12X is our entry level version of our 10X and 12X PTZs, but don't let the low price fool you. You can count on this PTZ to provide high quality video and reliable Pan Tilt Zoom control. It uses the newest technology available and this camera really delivers where it counts. Unlike most other PTZ cameras, this security camera includes an indoor/outdoor wall mount. This will save you a lot of money in accessories that you normally have to buy separately. This 12X PTZ features a Sony module with a Sony Super HAD II CCD, 5-60mm automatic Zoom Lens and an ICR day/night filter. This PTZ security camera is exceptionally small so it wont stand out like a standard PTZ camera. With the built in 12X Optical Zoom you will be able to zoom in to objects far away and they will appear up to 12 times closer than they really are. This PTZ security camera is weatherproof when mounted using the outdoor wall mount and is a very high resolution PTZ providing excellent detail from a distance. Additionally, this PTZ can be programmed to scan or follow preset patterns from the DVR using presets. This PTZ security camera is recommended for inside office spaces, or small parking lots and it can take the place of several security cameras.
Note: All CCTV Pan Tilt Zoom cameras require an extra cable to be used as an RS485 connection between the DVR and the camera. This cable is used to transmit the control commands from the DVR back to the PTZ.
a 12V DC Power Supply is not included. You can use your existing 12V DC Power Distribution Box or power transformer or you will need to purchase a 12V DC power supply with a minimum rating of 1000mA.

The camera out of the box seemed too light in weight for me to take seriously but once I installed the camera I was impress with the camera resolution and after 7 months of bad weather and bird droppings I still have a working camera. Be sure to make sure your dip settings are correct before you install it. For some reason it was set to camera 2 when I got it but I figured it out soon enough.

It worked good couple days only. After that half of the monitor screen turned into black. i have tried everything, no luck. They offered me replacement. waited for two weeks for the new one. guess what, i got the same camera and hasn't been fixed. Now i am stucked with this low quality camera. i should have paid little more extra get get a better camera and from know seller. Not recommended, camera and the seller.
