Night Owl's CAM-4PK-CM245 is a 4-pack of sleek indoor/outdoor night vision cameras. Utilizing 400 TV lines of resolution, the cameras produces clear and crisp images during the day. At night, the 24 powerful led's produce a night vision image up to 45 feet away in complete darkness. The cameras come packed with 4 x 60ft of video/power cable, power adapter with splitter and BNC to RCA adapters for easy connection to any TV (RCA) or Night Owl DVR (BNC). The indoor/outdoor(2) color cameras provide you with a clear, crisp, and enhanced image at 400 TV lines of resolution. (1)Indoor / Outdoor Housing: The camera housing is specifically designed to be used indoors or outdoors (2). The camera can withstand temperatures between 0°F and 114°F. Utilizing IP-66 the camera is water and weather resistant. 3-Axis Camera Bracket: Each camera comes with a 3-axis bracket for quick and easy mounting, which allows the camera cable to be run directly through it and into the wall thus not leaving the cable exposed. This deters the vandals and thieves from simply cutting the exposed wires and rendering the camera useless. 400 TV Lines of ResolutionThe camera has a sharp Color CMOS sensor that produces clear and crisp images at 400 TV lines of resolution. This equates to about 20ft of facial recognition. This is imperative for law enforcement to be able to prosecute the perpetrators. Connects Easily to your Television (RCA). The cameras connects to your TV for instant viewing. The cameras come equipped with a BNC to RCA adapters so you can plug directly into your TV. (Quad box needed to view all 4 cameras at once - not included). Connects Easily to your DVR (BNC). The cameras can also connect directly to your DVR utilizing the industry standard BNC connector. All Night Owl systems are compatible with every Night Owl DVR system. We utilize industry standard BNC connectors on all of our DVR's and cables. Great cameras!

We got a great deal on this during black friday(another retailer) at $200 including the dvr. My husband installed them and even though it was a lot of work to run all the wiring, it was well worth it. We put three cameras outdoors and one indoors(hidden inconspicuously next to something decorative because the cameras are a bit large) and they work. We hooked it up to view them on our TV, computer and iphone. I think we can only view on two of the three devices at a time, for example, TV and iphone or TV and PC, nevertheless, it works great. I can view from my iphone at any time and check on my teenaged child when home from school. Yes my child knows the camera is there, this is for security and peace of mind, not indoors spying:) But the passwords and operation of the cameras are strictly for me and my husband. The night vision view is a bit grainy but still good enough to see everything going on. Otherwise, indoors or during daylight outside, the view is awesome. With more than one dvr you can install even more cameras. The only downfall is that we can't pan or zoom, but these cameras work for our needs so it was not a deal breaker for us. If you are looking for those additional features, the cameras will be more expensive. I think this is a good purchase and I would highly recommend.

Great value for the Money

These cameras work very well outside and even have protection for the cord to run thru the center of the arm and mounting flange so there is no exposed wiring like other brand cameras have. Only caution is that night range in my experience is probably more like about 25 to 30 feet of usable range which is still better than some other cameras I have tried but not quite as much as I had expected.

Worked ok for 3 months

For 3 months they worked ok, nothing that great but for the price ok. Then one started to roll, the following day it stopped working a week later another one stopped working, now I only have two working, I have tried swapping them around, the two cameras have stopped working, should have got a better system.
