By Bob Fish
If you need a stand alone video capture device, or want to turn any old analog camera into an IP camera, this is the device to buy.Numerous output options and tweaking are provided by an onboard Web server, including MJPEG and H.264 video outputs. You can tweak the compression, frame rate, size and bitrate to your hearts content. It also provide motion detection events and a host of other options. It can be powered directly by POE or with a 12V DC supply and has built in digital output that can be used to drive other devices.Maybe not the cheapest way to achieve video capture, but is sure is the most convenient.

By Maverick Johns
As the other reviewer mentioned, these are fantastic units. If you have an older non-IP camera that you want to upgrade, these are the easiest way to do it. If you are doing several, I'd recommend a 4-port Axis encoder, but for single cameras, these work GREAT. Axis makes fantastic, reliable IP camera products, and this product is no different.

By praxeum
I bought a couple of these a year and a half ago and am ordering three more today. Axis makes great products and these are as good as they get. Very small and will fit inline with most any installation to turn an older analog camera into IP. It has the standard Axis webpage and will stream h.264 or MJPEG. They are POE and also have a serial port for PTZ control, all for a couple hundred bucks. If you only need one video stream and you want something you can set up and forget about, this is a good route to go.
