Could be great gadget, BUT...

I opened the package to this item(which appeared brand new)only to find the backing of the picture frame popped off and the frame itself partially open with the battery pack falling out. After trying to fix this figuring it would still possibly work, there was no way I could get the backing of the frame to fit with the battery pack in place. Sadly, it looks as if they had just made the frame itself 1/4" thicker everything would fit inside no problem, and you could place your own personal photo in the frame. I am not sure if the condition that this item arrived in was because of poor manufacturing or was previously returned and just repackaged and sent to me, so for that reason I am not getting a replacement, and am ordering a different item.

Although it's a great idea, it's not worth the price charged for it. It appears that they just took a normal picture frame and shoved a hard drive and camera into it. Workmanship is poor as the edges of the frame seem to come apart. Camera and it's components could be hidden better such as lights, ports, etc. Better off making your own hidden camera.
