4great product for the price
By John
I have 4 other IP cameras and none of them have as good of a picture as this one. set up was pretty simple and the software is easy to use. When i went to install the software the CD that came with the camera did not work. I e-mail tech support and received a reply back with the in 24 hours with the software. So far I am very pleased with the camera and customer support.

5Good camera for the price
By Cody
It's the best outdoor camera I could find for the price. The video quality is good. The software isn't the best but the firefox plugin works well to configure it and you can use 3rd party software.

31.2M resolution but Half of the screen is fuzzy
By C. Martin
Considering this is twice the resolution of other security cameras, the fuzziness isn't too bad. There's no M-Jpeg streaming for the primary display, just the secondary. RTSP is nice, but the camera software I was using doesn't support RTSP (Motion http://www.lavrsen.dk/foswiki/bin/view/Motion/WebHome on Linux ). It's nice to have a few additional options. It seems like it would have been so easy to add, as they already have the option for a smaller resolution view that would be used on a cell phone...etc.The software is a little quirky, as this is not a PTZ camera but software that controls a PTZ camera is loaded on it.http://:8081 is the admin and requires custom plug-in to be installed to view the image. Not possible if you are using Linux unless you want to do some 'Wine' tricks. The upside is the image stream can be accessed via rtsp://:10081 via VLC.I do see a little benefit out doors with the LED's but its only at 15-20 feet. Anything more than that doesn't show unless its reflective, but thats kind of expected in this price range. If the devices looses power, the time is not saved and it starts back with 1999-12-31.Seems to use about 335K of bandwidth a second. In a home gigbit network, thats pretty minimal.
